The United Arab Emirates are located along the Persian Gulf between Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar . This federation that consists of seven Emirates : Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjha, Ajman, Umm AI Qwain, Ras Al-Khaimah and Fujairah,  was created in 1971. Abu Dhabi is the federal Capital of the UAE.

 Total  Area : 83,600 sq Km (land) - 91.700 Km2 with the islands .

 Population (estimation): 4.96 M. The population includes 85% expatriates ( 40% d'Indo-Pakistanese, 20% GCC Countries). The French community is around 10 000 people (around 3000 in Abu Dhabi).
