Dial a Doctor,
a medical company, has the pleasure to announce that they offer a
medical house-call (home visits) and home care service in
Dubai, similar to the SOS Medecins groups in
all big cities of France.
The
main reasons for being treated at home are:
1.
convenience: why face the traffic and the waiting rooms, if you are
feeling sick and miserable, specially during rush hours or in the
middle of the night?
2.
rapid recovery: people treated in their home and family environment
do recover much faster,
3.
lower cost: patients do not get charged for unnecessary laboratory
tests and Xrays, like in the hospitals.
Our
doctors are all multilingual (English, French, Dutch, Arabic) family
doctors with experience, and available 24hours/ 24 and every day of
the year. The company keeps and updates a list of the best
diagnostic centers and specialists in each discipline in Dubai, if a
patient needs referral.
The
normal time to arrive to patients' homes should be maximum one hour,
depending on the traffic. However, Dial a Doctor is not an emergency
service like the French SAMU, for life-saving situations. In those
cases, please call 999.
Dial
a Doctor also has a clinic established in the Dubai HealthCare City
free zone(located behind Wafi and the Grand Hyatt), where GP
appointments can be made for any acute or chronic diseases,
check-ups, immunizations, etc... If a patient needs to be in
hospital, we can liaise with the treating doctor and inform the
family. We can also make contacts with the doctors in the home
country, and organize aero-medical evacuations.
