"World famous
Iranian-born French photographer Reza was in Dubai Nov. 27 to
present a new exhibition he plans to bring to Dubai in early 2006.
The new show, ONE WORLD, ONE FAMILY is inspired by the
monumental DESTINS CROISES (Destinies Ecountered), a 4-month-long
outdoor show held in 2003 at the Luxembourg gardens in Paris, which
drew over a million visitors.
ONE WORLD, ONE FAMILY will feature 100 large-format prints, words,
and in its outdoor setting will be an invitation to discover the
family of man.
It is the first time that Reza is exhibiting in the Gulf Region.
Sales of books and posters printed in conjunction with the show will
help finance the non-profit association AINA (Mirror), which Reza
founded in 2001.
Based in Kabul, AINA promotes childrens' education, as well as
cultural renewal in civil society.
On November 3rd, 2005, Reza was made Chevalier de l'Ordre National
du Merite, France's highest honour for a civilian. He is also an
award-winning senior contributor to the National Geographic
Magazine.
In the UAE, Reza would be very happy to see ONE WORLD, ONE FAMILY,
supported by the French community."
