The festive season is well over now and I am pleased to get back to
business. The 2006 challenges are ahead and we anticipate ambitious
developments at the French Business Council this year, that will
contribute for one thing to further and assist French exporters.
2006 is going to be an exciting year, and event-wise will start with
our 2006 Kick off get together on 7th February. It is shifting this
month to a new and upcoming venue in Dubai, Cin cin, the Fairmont’ s
Hotel recently opened wine bar. It will be the occasion to catch
with one another and to welcome newcomers to our business community.

du Comite Luxe . Contrefaçon. Lundi 16 Janvier 2006.

Le comite Luxe du FBC s’est réuni dans les bureaux du
FBC le lundi 16 janvier 2006 afin de préparer un projet
de lettre concernant le problème de Contrefaçon
que le FBC souhaiterait remettre à Christine Lagarde,
Ministre deleguée au Commerce extérieur,
préalablement à sa visite aux Emirats, reportée à début
avril prochain.
Le problème de contrefaçon se posant dans tous les
secteurs d’activités, les membres présents ont émis le
souhait d’associer a leurs requêtes, les membres du FBC
concernés par ce problème : industrie pharmaceutique,
industries produisant des pièces détachées….
Une réunion finale sera fixée sous peu pour finaliser ce
document qui fera état de recommandations visant à la
mise en place d’une réelle politique anti contrefaçon.
