After
winning the gold medal in team at the Olympic Games of
Athena in 2004,
the French sword team traveled to Doha, Qatar last January
2005
to compete at the World Sword Championship.
The
French team came 3rd,
behind Italy in 2nd place
and Germany who came 1st.
Fabrice Jeannet won third place of the individual
tournament.
The
French Olympic champions Jérome Jeannet, Fabrice Jeannet
and Erik Boisse took time out to visit the Lancel corner
in Merch where
they received a warm welcome !
