Saturday 24th April until Tuesday 27th we had the pleasure of
welcoming a delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and
Industry of Limoges in UAE.
On Sunday 25thApril, after two days of an intensive agenda, the
President of the CCI Limoges, Mr Bernard Gorse,
invited his delegation together with
his excellence Mr. Robert Jongeryck,
French Consul General, Member of French Parliament, Mr.
Olivier Moaligou, Deputy Trade
Commissioner at the Economic Department of the French Embassy and
the French Business Council members to meet for a cocktail party at
the FBC premises. On this occasion, Mr. Francois
Dao, President of the French Business
Council reminded the main mission of the FBC to gather companies and
individuals in order to promote French commercial interests in Dubai
and Northern Emirates as well as to support the interest and
commitment of France and its business community. The setting up of a
liaison office for companies from Limoges region is in its final
stage and is expected to be operational soon.
The cocktail was followed by a diner on Bateaux Dubai where the
members of the executive Committee of the FBC were invited by CCI
Limoges. All enjoyed the sphere full evening on the creek as the
boat was cruising along some of the most striking samples of
architecture in Dubai.
Finally after a day spent in Abu Dhabi, the FBC organized a working
lunch with informal business discussions between the delegation of
Limoges and its members. This lunch was held at the Sofitel.
