The World Bank and the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras al Khaimah are sponsoring an Investment Promotion conference in the UAE on May 28-29, 2005.

This is an excellent opportunity for companies in banking and financing, for construction, building materials, port development, hotels, tourism, health care, and technology to learn about new projects, meet new partners and customers as well as hear about the improving investment and regulatory climate. A tour of development projects in RAK is organised on the 2nd day of the conference.

Guest speakers include H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Quasr Al Quasimi, Crown Prince of RAK, H.H. Sheikha Lubna Al Quasimi, UAE Minister for planning and economy, Dr Mohammad Khalfan bin Khirbash, UAE Minister of State for Finance and Industry, and officials from the World Bank .
