Swim
Burj Al-Arab 2005
is going to take place on
November 18th
and will once again see up to 500 swimmers taking the
plunge to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
The swim is around 1.1 km and will be fully supervised
by Wild Wadi lifeguards.
There will be two heats, a competitive heat for all you
contenders out there and a fun swim for those who want
to take their time and just make it round. There will
be prizes for the fastest swimmers, male and female, and
a prize for the individual who raises the most money for
MSF.
We are asking each
entrant to raise a minimum of 120
AED for the competitive swim and 100 AED for the leisure
swim sponsorship money for MSF. As Jumeirah Group are
very kindly covering the costs of the event all
sponsorship funds will go directly to MSF to help
continue our lifesaving work in over 80 countries around
the world.
To register for the swim please visit our website
http://www.msfuae.ae/ and fill in the form, we will
then send you a sponsorship form and some further
details about the swim. For safety reasons we are
strictly limited to 500 participants so to ensure your
place please register as soon as possible.
Hope to see you there!
