A French couple is about to settle their own business in Dubai, organizing cruises, corporate activities or event on the deck of their dhow, “Nizwa”.

Upon his arrival in Dubai, Jocelyn Pierre discovered a passion about the wooden dhows and their history. Jocelyn and Helene got then the opportunity to acquire “Nizwa”, a 25 meters long dhow built in Sur - Oman. After 1 year ½ of hard work refurbishing the boat (hull, masts, sails, living quarters, etc), the old fishing boat has became a traditional sailing dhow, rigged with Lateen sails. The boat is now completed with 4 double berths, 3 single berths and a nice Arabic saloon in the old cargo space. He can accommodate up to 23 people for an offshore cruise.

With the belief that Dubai needs to reinforce the history of the region (pearl diving, lifestyle of fisherman, pearl business in the region, etc) and thanks to the proximity of Musamdam Fjords, Jocelyn and Helene have decided to offer to all of us the possibility to mix pleasure and learning.
