Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organisers of GITEX 2004, the
Middle East’s largest, most representative and eagerly anticipated
IT trade exhibition announced that online pre-registration for trade
visitors has started on July 15th at
www.gitex.com. The service is open for all IT trade
professionals interested in the exhibition that will run at the DWTC
Complex from October 3rd to 7th.

Membership Renewal
As you know, your FBC membership is expiring at the end of
September. For this purpose, and should you like to renew
your membership for the new year (1st October 2004 to 30th
September 2005), please return before the 8th October the
membership renewal form which will be addressed to you
personally very soon.

FBC Annual General Assembly, 13th
October
 This
assembly will be held on Wednesday 13th October at the
Alliance Française’s Auditorium, from 6pm to 8pm.
As a voting member of the Council, you will be asked to
elect 12 members-at-large for the FBC Executive Committee.
If you think you will be unable to attend the AGA, please do
not forget to submit the attached power of delegation in
order to ensure the quorum.
For voting and proxies, please note
the following:
All FBC Members who have paid their membership fees for the
year starting 1st October 2004 until 30th September 2005
will have the right to vote the New Executive Committee.
However, only one vote per company is authorized and each
member cannot hold more than 3 proxies.
According to our constitution, each member whose fees are
paid for the period 1st October 2004 to 30th September 2005
has the right to present his candidature for the Executive
Committee’s election.
Don’t forget, your vote
and participation are needed!
