2018-19RS011 - Sales Coordinator

Our client is looking for his/ her Sales Coordinator, in order to perform many different administrative and commercial duties to keep the day-to-day business going as planned.

Main responsibilities:

  • Handling existing and new GCC customers (except UAE) and other markets outside GCC where the company is operating
  •  Handling customers’ requests/orders on daily basis
  • Contacting customers to manage an efficient follow-up or to update them on the status of an order or a delivery.
  • Providing “sales force” with details of customers’ orders and requests for quotations, and makes them aware of any problems likely to affect customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Handling incoming orders from the company's “sales force” or via mail, telephone, e-mail.
  • Entering details of the order on the company’s computing system (ERP system)
  • Checking that it includes the correct price, discount level and product requirements.
  • Checking stock availability or production schedules and forward the order’ details to purchase team or logistic/warehouse team.
  • Sending an acknowledgment to the customer and email or phone with updates on order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Securing with forwarder the relevant documentation/certification to be provided with all shipments according to destination/country regulation
  • Maintaining an accurate customer records
  • Logging any customer problems or complaints on the record so that sales have a complete picture
  • of the customers’ interactions with the company.
  • Reminding the customers if new products/brands launches to guarantee sales to meet the annual objective
  • Following up on meeting’s minutes released after each meeting by the sales force
  • Leveling up the new customers

Reporting Relationship
This position reports to Business Development Director with a dotted-line to Sales and Marketing Director
