2018-19RS023 - Business Developer ME

Our client is looking for its new Business Developer ME who will be reporting directly to the Sales Director of MENA & China.

Job Purpose: 

  • The Business developer is responsible for generating business from the clients assigned and identifying new clients. Maintain daily contact with them, visiting them as often as possible. 
  • Responsible for the animation of the Project Portfolio and for getting the company prequalified as approved service providers for the targeted client companies.

Job description (Responsibilities & Accountabilities) 

  • Collecting and compiling Marketing Intelligence information through websites, networks and contacts.
  • Coordinating with Operations and sourcing team and ensuring that the company is equipped with sufficient resources (CVs & others) to reply to tenders on time.
  • Identifying Partners / Subcontractors in the Regions where Company’s office is not present.
  • Visiting Clients in order to identify potential business / resolving issues if any.
  • Preparing Commercial Proposals and securing the Frame Agreements with the client. 
  • Maintaining a current and accurate knowledge of competitor services, being able to highlight to the clients, the benefits of hiring the company as their approved service provider.
  • Keeping abreast of competitor activity and recommending any necessary tactical action.
  • Providing time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities.
  • Coordinating with respective departments to answer tender enquiries, prepare commercial proposals.

Employee Profile [Educational Qualification, Skills & Experience]:

  • Degree in any Discipline
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in similar industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the Clients in order to acquire business
  • Good team player
  • Ability to read and understand contractual terms and conditions
  • Ability to manage and analyze the data to produce MIS Reports to include: reasons for wins/losses, and Progress of opportunities in relation to the Business Development process
  • IT Skills like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills are mandatory
  • With thorough knowledge and understanding of the Organization Structure and the key personnel or decision makers of the assigned client companies
