2018-19RS040 - Communication Specialist

Our client, is specialist for line pipe, fittings and flanges, valves, instrumentation and control systems. This French Cie ,based in Dubai, is looking for its communication specialist.

The Communication Specialist receives general directions from and reports to the Group HR & Communication Manager.

The Communication Specialist contributes to the creation, implementation and oversees communication and marketing actions and tools, be it internal or external, that effectively describe and promote each branch of The compagny, its organization, its products and its services.
The Communication Specialist applies the Marketing and Communication strategy validated with the Management encompassing among other the commercial positioning of the compagny and the recognition of its brand name.
The Communication Specialist ensures that existing and new Business units, Divisions or entities of the Group follow its communication and marketing policies and are provided with the proper actions and tools to market, present and commercialize the Group and its products and services.

The Communication Specialist manages the day to day activities and operations of the Communication Department.
The Communication Specialist develops and delivers communications strategies across the entire broad spectrum of communications disciplines including internal and external communications, media and public relations, brand marketing and cost tracking.
This includes also the production and overseeing of all electronic and print-based marketing material, planning agendas, producing monthly reports for the board members and ensuring Company’s employees are equipped with the necessary information and communication tools to carry out their duties efficiently.
The Communication Specialist helps in the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward employees or external audience.

External Communication

- Maintain and enhance the branding of the Company, including impactful and fit-for-purpose publications, web site, social media and merchandise such as corporate giveaways
- Reinforce the Company’s reputation and identity toward the targeted audience (clients, end-users, EPC, suppliers, competitors…)
- Develop and deliver with consistency the corporate messages and overall corporate communication.
- Provide design and editorial support to staff on presentations and communication materials geared toward clients…..

Internal Communication
- Introduce all Corporate Communication tools to new employees, in particular to the sales’ team
- Support the sales’ team in terms of presentation of the Company’s products and services
- Ensure staff is well briefed on key communications issues and that communication tools are not wrongly mixed within the different Group’s entities / Division
- Ensure staffs are using the proper format for all the professional correspondence related to the Company
- Enhance internal communications and develops an understanding of the Company's work and needs of its users
- Organizes Sales staff meetings and Strategic meetings
- Enhance the Company’s culture and core values
- Manages the team building and employees events
- Manages the “info” email of the Company, by passing the email to the relevant recipient
- Keeps up to date changes to communications tools and materials, legislation and codes of practice

Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor market trends and competitors communication activities
- Propose counter actions to remain in line with our competitors
- Listen to media reports and read specialized press relevant to the Company’s industry, products and services

Internet & Social Media
- Increase the Company’s profile across media
- Is responsible for all media aspects
- Develops social media strategy
- Develop key messages, lead on creating and maintaining appropriate and consistent language and terminology across all media
- Update the content of the Group’s website, manage its content and keep it updated
- Ensure all Social Medias are in line with the current Company’s profile, its products and services
- Live-up the social network (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook…)

Graphic Production
- Produce and oversee all the Group’s documents such as promotional displays, leaflets, commercial brochures for products and services, Company profile, posters, letterhead, business cards, case studies, customer’s presentation, products/services Corporate video…
- Assess and determine the needs of the client to portray the desired message and design, involving consideration of cultural, physical and social factors to plan and execute desired designs
- Initiate new way to improve external and internal communication
- Develop idea and design concepts into documents layouts
- Prepare layouts for printing
- Liaise and negotiate with external suppliers and/or agencies for all printings, after having provided the layout
- Manage the publication and promotion of the Company’s materials, including design and printing
- Handle basic photo retouch, layout modification and picture library database management

Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.

The successful candidate shall be able to manage multitasks with a “can-do” attitude and control cost. The ideal candidate is able to perform on site with proper software most of the above responsibilities.
