2018-19RS063 - Human Resources Generalist

This position is a new/permanent starting from October 2019. Working closely with the Finance team and reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll support the team’s strategy to help retain and grow best-in-class talent and provide employees with a great working experience. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across our UAE/KSA will have touch points with our HQ teams as well. This role supports employees in Middle East

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a point of contact to team members, answering questions, and helping employees navigate all aspects of HR
  • Intake employee relations topics and development needs
  • Support promotion process, headcount planning, and talent reviews
  • Administer employee changes and employee leaves
  • Coordination of events, activities, and training
  • Administer internal HR documentation, including transfer/promotion letters and immigration postings
  • Assist with employee relations topics
  • Model and reinforce our cultural values of being kind, smart, and creative and follow the company Value and Ethic
  • Conducts personnel administration activates
  • Administering and monitoring the employee life-cycle related changes to transfers, ending of employments, promotions, awards and salary changes by communicating with other Department Manager
  • Managing medical and life insurance
  • Guiding employees with medical claims, investigating and resolving complexities
  • Sending monthly attendance report to Finance
  • Enrollment for employees with various eligibility levels,
  • Coordinating updates and changes of compensation and benefits (new hires, transfers, merit increases, job changes) on Human resources information system
  • Maintaining employee benefit records and work-paper documentation (salary letters, employment certificates etc....) in accordance with internal requirements.
  • Assist in resolving day-to-day HR issues as well as being involved in the daily responsibilities of the HR Director
  • Coordinate with travel agencies and embassies for necessary documentation as well as following up on reservations (flights and hotels) for staff traveling.
  • Update Job Directory (new hires, transfers, resignations, promotions and general staff organizational charts).
  • HRIS: Ensure all Annual, Sick and unpaid leave entitlements are processed accurately.
  • Insure all requests for any certificates or letters are approved and timely processed.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Preparing annual allowances and benefits renewal such as Annual Airfares & Life insurance.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Master in Human Resources
  • HR experience at least 2-3 years
  • Proven performance in supporting an HR agenda, employee relations topics, and UAE labor law (is a must)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory and  French (Advantage)
  • Knowledge of UAE Employment Law
