2019-20RS27 - Regional Sales Manager Africa & Middle East

We are hiring for our client its Sales Manager who will represent the Cie in Africa & Middle East.

  • He/She Creates and implements a business development and sales strategy that employs direct sales to retail chains and local distributors to significantly expand diffusion of the products in the region.
  • He/She Supports distributors to increase the execution of sales activities through demonstration of the value of our products to customers and prospects
  • He/She Works closely with the marketing department to ensure the implementation of the Marketing strategy; And with the nutrition partner to ensure the right message is delivered and team training and orientation are done properly.
  • He/ She Co-develops proposals to respond to tenders.
  • He/She ensures the full achievement of internal objectives for revenue, profit and targets
  • He/she will be the active link between the HQ (France) & local distributors and clients

Main duties but not exhaustive.

  • Participate in the creation and management of the Dubai office (administrative follow-up / budget and personnel management)
  • Prospecting and marketing assigned markets  in the Middle East / Africa region
  • Manage relations with local distributors (strategies, contracts, forecasts, stocks, prices, information and training on products)
  • Participate in the elaboration of business strategy, forecasts and budgets
  • Work in close collaboration with internal departments (R & D, Quality, Production, Marketing / Communication, Logistics)
  • Analyze markets and send summaries to Group Management
  • Participate in trade shows
  • Make regular trips to the area and in France

Requirements:

  • 15-20 years of experience in nutrition or Health Care business, selling products directly to retail chains and through distributors.
  • Expert knowledge of the Middle East region and/or international business.
  • Ability to manage the sales cycle including prospecting, proposing, closing, and developing large, complex accounts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • English, French and Arabic speaker.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Middle East with occasional travel to the France.
