2020-21RS23 - Business Development Manager – Middle East

Our Client:
French group and international leader in time measurement and management, our client is looking to increase his business in the region for its Industrial Time Displays and Indoor / Outdoor Scoreboards business lines.

Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to sale its products in the Middle East region.
The role requires to identify and support distribution networks:

• Commercial & technical support.
• Prospection and homologation.
• Definition of objectives and monitoring the achievements.

Reporting to the Export Manager, the Key Account Manager will also supervise our team day-to-day tasks and activities to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner.
The role requires a hands-on and autonomous individual, with excellent communication skills and interest in technical products.


• Build and develop a distributor’s network for Time Displays and Scoreboards products.
• Explain to customers the technical characteristics of products and services that meet their needs.
• Negotiate commercial conditions as part of the company's commercial policy (prices, discounts, payment terms, etc.) then close deals.
• Manage customer disputes.
• Interact with the internal Design Office for specific products.
• Promote the prescription to design offices, architects and institutional users (Hospitals, Schools, Administrations, Sports Centres, etc.) and assist design offices in drafting specifications.
• Reporting to line management.
• Share with the line manager market needs, information on competitors and export markets.
• Participate to all trainings that may be offered by the company and participate in any commercial event when tasked to attend.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Sales or technical University Degree
  • Previous working experience in sales prescription of technical products
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
  • Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
  • Anticipate multiple business trips in the region and in France
  • Fluent English / Being French Speaker is a plus
