2020-21RS42 - Business Developer

Our client's Group is a medium-sized company that is growing fast and operates as an industrial specialist in converting high performance materials on strategic markets. We are bringing added value on materials such as insulation products, technical films, adhesives, foams, glues, etc.

Our teams are located around the world, including in Dubai where we operate for all Middle East region ,but also Egypt, Pakistan, and Indian markets.  In order to strengthen our position in this region, we are looking for a Business Developer located in Dubai.

Your mission:

As Business Developer, you will prospect and sell services and products for current and new customers, using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to identify new market opportunities, relevant applications and answer customer’s needs, resulting in revenue generation.

You will manage your portfolio and follow orders up to customer payment. You will also participate in marketing actions, market planning and technical development of products and services.


The direct customer business and development includes:
• Commercial Negotiations
• Determination of offers that result from these negotiations or are the result of commercial approach
• Monitoring and handling of orders obtained
• Monitoring of customers offers via CRM
• Ensure that operations and production functions are apprised of the needs and expectations for all current and new projects.
• Writing reports after each visit to customers
• Commercial issues, discrepancy / qualitative feedback to supplier
• Monitoring turnover / financial results and actions further to this monitoring
• Monitoring customer payments.

Market and Competition Study:
• Create and develop a network of commercial relationships with new potential clients and agents in the region
• Understanding of customer and market needs
• Find and obtain, as far as possible, information on competition: on price levels;
• Be open to new possibilities for products: new applications and sources of need for existing products;
• Take responsibility for the promotion and sale the wide range of products on an incremental basis
• Obtain and inform about changes at customers or brochures: changes in the organization, etc.;
• Identify and pass on possible sales opportunities internally if for other entities within the group

Internal and external activities:
• Possibility to participate within our Group or other local entities to general marketing activities eg participation in trade fairs, assistance in the writing of different sales documents, etc.
• Possibility of organization of certain business practices
• Active participation in local business meetings and eventually those related to our Group.
• Provide information to the Product marketing unit.
• Fulfilment of any other tasks directly or indirectly related to, additional to, or complementary to, the scope of obligations defined above

We are looking for someone with a high Business sense and entrepreneurship spirit and wants to take part to our challenges.

  • Good self-organisation
  • Sales skills, tenacity.
  • Enjoy working with people you know how to listen to.
  • Analysis, Rigour, ability to consolidate data
  • Able to propose and adapt
  • IT tools
  • English. French, Arab or Indian is a plus.
