Solar Decathlon Middle East 2nd Edition – 2021 in line with Expo 2020 Dubai

We would like to extend our best regards for your continued success &  cordially to Extend you the invitation of  Dubai Electricity & Water Authority  for all employees and  family members to visit the Decathlon Village at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park to learn more about the smart and sustainable homes participating in the second Solar Decathlon Middle East, (SDME) www.solardecathlonme.com for university students to design solar-powered homes.

The SDME is organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. The SDME is held in conjunction with Expo 2020 Dubai from 11th to 25th  November 2021, The SDME aims to achieve the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to enhance Dubai’s position as a global hub for sustainability and innovation, and a city of the future that adopts sustainable solutions and provides a space for youth from around the world to create and innovate.

We look forward to your valuable  presence at SDME 2021 and delighted to inform you that DEWA provides transportation for groups  to and from the Decathlon Village from different location . We appreciate your cooperation to raise awareness on SDME among your workplace/ entity ( Attached supporting flyers pls)  and also advise a dedicated points with the required dates to arrange for a complementary transport/shuttles accordingly .

•             Shuttles Time ( 09:00 am  weekdays – 11:00 am weekends)  and drop visitors back (14:00 pm weekdays – 15:00pm weekends)

•             Program Visit Includes Welcome Refreshments /Light Snack for Children and Competitions with daily valuable process ( Please view attached details)
