Her commitment A Franco-Italian citizen, Cristina Lunghi, has been working as an international expert in gender equality for almost 25 years. She is recognized for her ability to model processes and in particular for the creation of Equality Certification.

  • In 1995, focusing on the business world, Cristina Lunghi not only created her own consulting firm, but also founded a non-profit organization, called Arborus. Its goal is to help companies achieve better equality between men and women by ensuring that women are promoted to decision-making positions. To meet this goal, Cristina Lunghi guides corporations in their implementation of labor laws and European directives on gender equality and equal opportunities, which in turn allow them to turn legal obligations into strategic opportunities.
  • In 2010, Cristina Lunghi launched, In Bruxelles, at the European Economic Social Council, the Arborus Foundation to implement at European and international level a culture for gender equality with a vision of inclusion. She created the Gender Equality European and International Standard- GEEIS, which Bureau Veritas Certification carries out the audits.
  • In March 2017, she launched the GEEIS-Diversity at the Economic Social & Environmental Council, in Paris, in order to integrate Diversity into a global strategy for equality : GEEIS- Diversity.
  • In September 2019, she launched, in New York, at the UN headquarter, under the high patronage of the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations and the CEDAW Committee, the GEEIS-SDG trophy, to highlight the practices compagnies having GEEIS label and working to promote one or more of the SDGs. A way to show that equality is the lever to change the world.
  • In April 2020, despite the unprecedent Covid-19 health crisis, she launched in partnership with Orange group, under the patronage of the French Digital Secretary of State, Generation Equality - UNWomen, and the CEDAW-UN, the first International Charter for an Inclusive Artificial Intelligence. In September 2020, Arborus entrusted Bureau Veritas Certification with the audit of AI GEEIS addentum : GEEIS-AI.

  • She has been rewarded for her work with the French Ordre National du Mérite in 2008.
  • She has been member of the « Parity Observatory » for the French government from 2004 to 2012.
  • She has been member of the AFNOR standardization commission for the diversity standard, the Diversity label and the standard on the measurement of diversity.
  • She is member of the diversity council of Batigère Group since 2014.
  • She is member of the OMIX - CapitalCom ( gender balance).
  • She is also one of the 100 women selected by the “Guide des Expertes” - Publisher : Anne Carrière Editions, 2012.
  • She is member of Elle&Co since 2017 – to promote solidarity between women networks
  • She is member of the Ethic Council of DANONE.
