2020-21RS62 - Middle East & Eastern Africa Supply Chain Manager

Our client, an International F&B company is looking for its Supply Chain Manager ME and Eastern Africa.  She / He will be based in Dubai – Jebel Ali and will reports to the General Manager Middle East & Eastern Africa and Indian Ocean.


  • 6-9 months Project + Permanent Supply Chain management
  • Design, implement and run the most efficient model to run the Supply Chain in the region (infrastructure, process, organization) to support business on key activities: inventory management, demand/supply planning, logistics, customer services, freight and customs.
  • Build, train, manage and develop the teams
  • Meet targeted quality of service in terms of Client, Costs, Cash, Care and CSR
  • Ensure compliance in terms of Tax, Customs and Excise Management

Responsibilities & key activities
Project Management:
In close collaboration with the PMO in charge of the overall project, lead Middle East & Eastern Africa Supply Chain design and implementation:

Project framing:
•  Validate project scope, budget, organization, team, resources and planning
•  Identify dependencies, constrains and risks

Project Phase:
•  Manage overall Supply Chain implementation:
• Report progress, follow budget, delivery planning.  Participate to project meetings
• Contribute to deliverables production (analysis, business cases, specifications, IS evolutions requests, contracts ...)

Project performance evaluation:
• Evaluate the project delivery (on time, in full, at cost)
• Measure benefits on mid and long-term experience

Demand & Supply management
•  In consensus with key stakeholders (Sales/Marketing/Finance),  lead all demand planning & supply processes (Scope: distributor markets, all product categories (core, limited editions, allocations, POSM, copacked & bespoke items, complete portfolio maturity (local, innovations, new brands, ...). Maintain forecast models and tools as necessary
• In link with the company: manage inventory modelling and obsolescence risks
• Follow-up with the company both replenishment reliability and promptness
• In link with business, manage allocations to optimise client satisfaction and company’s targets
• Assess and adjust plans to deliver the objectives and meet business requirements

3PL Activity & Performance
• Propose logistics strategy evolutions
• Steer logistic partners to ensure business is supported.
• Elaborate budget and manage expenses, challenge 3PL contract (in respect of Moët Hennessy ethics and code of conduct), control, in link with Regional Office and Finance
• Monitor and publish KPI's, performance, costs and efficiency analysis and animate performance review over areas
• Perform operational audits, stock takes, BCP tests and ensure traceability quality. Propose and drive improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance to the company and the Group's standards & legal rules (Safety, Security, Sustainability and Social labor treatment)

Customer Services
• Guarantee efficient execution of customer service activities, ensure proper order to cash management in order to reach a high level of customers' satisfaction.
• Ensure the respect of orders processing rules (“Order to Cash” overall process)
• Measure, customer service overall performance, Report and Improve
• Monitor accounts receivables (payments, overdues)
• Control sales discounts, credit notes and returns


  • 7 to 10 experience in a similar position involving purchasing, logistics, and inventory management, Leadership experience will be a plus.
  • Negotiation skills, Strong planning, control and process skills
  • Supplier and internal customer interaction
  • Organization skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Proactive; Good communication skills
  • Fosters good interpersonal working relationships; success oriented
  • Team player
