Cécile TEXIERVice President Sustainability & CSR - ALSTOM

A graduate in civil engineering, Cécile Texier has been Alstom’s Vice President of Sustainability & CSR since January 2018. She drives the company's Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Climate strategy and policies, local communities investment program, sustainability in marketing, extra-financial reporting activities, and dialog with stakeholders. She was also appointed in 2018 Global Diversity Champion of the Company to support the deployment of Alstom Diversity & Inclusion programs.

Cécile is a member of the Board of the Alstom Foundation and vice-chairman of the UITP Committee on Sustainable Development.

Prior to her current role, she was Sustainability & CSR Director for Alstom Transport then the Alstom group.

Cécile Texier joined the Alstom group in 2005 as an Environment, Health and Safety Analyst. As head of the Energy and Carbon project, she defined objectives, developed the protocol for calculating emissions and managed company-wide emission reduction programmes.

She had previous experience as Sustainable Development Manager for KPMG France from 2000 to 2005, leading assessments of environmental issues in the context of merger and acquisition projects and verification of extra-financial data.

She began her career in 1997 as an environmental management consultant within France's National Institute of the Industrial Environment and Risk (INERIS). In this role, she helped industrial clients achieve ISO 14001 certification, piloted training courses and conducted environmental audits involving a variety of organisations.
