Afraz is a senior lawyer in the corporate team of our Dubai office. He has extensive experience in advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Afraz has significant regional expertise  in the Middle East with more than 10 years of experience in advising leading corporates, private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, strategic/financial investors, governments, and management teams on various domestic, cross-border, and multi-jurisdictional corporate/commercial matters.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Afraz has acted as General Counsel for a portfolio company owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai and was instrumental in expanding the group’s business from being a start-up to now a well known global logistics business in a span of 3 years.
